Michael Thomas attended California State University at Fullerton where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors. Mr. Thomas received his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall).
Mr. Thomas has been practicing law since 1984. He has extensive experience in virtually every aspect of civil litigation including pretrial litigation, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appellate work. Aside from his extensive litigation experience, Mr. Thomas has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Chapman University College of Law and Western State University College of Law.
Mr. Thomas has authored and co-authored several books including the multi-set California Civil Practice: Torts, the California Civil Courtroom Handbook & Desktop Reference,California Premises Liability and the multi-set California Civil Practice: Procedure (all Thomson Reuters Publications). Mr. Thomas is widely regarded as an expert in his field and has on many occasions provided legal commentary for newspapers, radio, and television. In addition to Mr. Thomas’ broad litigation experience, his expertise in civil procedure makes him a valuable asset to Angulo McGhee.
